2016 | my year from the cutting room floor

Happy New Year's Eve!  As I was updating my website with all my favorites from the past year, I stumbled across some gems of my two hooligans that got lost in the mix.  Ironically, I am the worst at getting pictures of my own kids (Definitely forgot to take ANY pictures at Christmas, don't tell the grandparents) and one of my goals for 2017 is to be more intentional about capturing our day-to-day mayhem.  We'll see how I do. ;)

Professionally, this was a big transition year.  I have zero business acumen and I've been on a huge learning curve!  But I found out that I could actually do this.  I'm not normally one to be sappy, but it has been an emotional experience to realize how my clients have supported me over the years and allowed me to do what I love.  So although it doesn't seem like enough to say, THANK YOU to my amazing clients/friends for your support. 💗

I hope you all have a wonderful 2017 and I hope to see y'all in front of my camera soon! :)

awaiting baby booth | winter hybrid maternity session

I love winter in Mississippi!  As much as I love the greenery we get almost year-round, its nice to take a break with bare trees and clean white light.  And as a cold-natured person, I cannot tell you the joy it brought me to shoot a December maternity session in 70 degree weather. :p  I so enjoyed meeting this adorable couple and can't wait to meet their baby girl in February!
