I *heart* taking pictures for my friends. It is really the only meaningful thing I can do for the people I love the most, especially since I have no other discernible skills. ;)  This beautiful mama of two is one of my favorite people...she (along with her entire family) is the kindest, most giving, most thoughtful person on the planet.  And on top of that she makes gorgeous children! Congratulations and love y'all!!

baby finley {newborn}

I know I've said this before but I'm for real this time...Finley is, hands down, the smiley-est baby EVER.  This happy girl was just 7 days old for her traditional newborn session and she totally rocked it!  It also didn't hurt that she had two beautiful mamas, a gorgeous nursery and some super cute outfits. :)  I can't wait to see her in 6 months for her milestone mini session!

brayden {3 months}

I had an AH-MAZING lifestyle session with Brayden and his parents in their gorgeous home.  Seriously, can they come decorate my house?  The cute baby goodness, plus the house, plus the incredible light, plus the awesome mom and dad (and Gizmo the dog) made for one of my favorite sessions.  Ever.  Hope you enjoy! :)

my girls + film

So I started shooting film again and I am totally in love.  Here is a recent 10-minute session with my two favorite subjects and my cheap Canon AE-1 (currently retailing for about $40 on ebay!).  I also shot some digital pics and edited with Mastin Labs presets to give them a film look.  What do yall think...do you like this style of image?  Right now I am practicing with my cheap 35mm and saving for a medium format, but I would love to shoot some hybrid (film + digital) sessions in the future!  Portra 400 film scans by the FIND Lab. :)
