Jennifer and Steve met as neighbors and the rest is history!  It has been awesome getting to know these two, they are both such genuine people and so adorable as a couple.  Of course their wedding day was magical, Jennifer was a gorgeous bride and everything came together perfectly!  And you know those weddings where nobody dances and everyone goes home early?  Yeah, this wasn't one of those weddings. ;)  Congratulations y'all!!

This was a DREAM session!  Not only did this family look like models but they were all completely at ease in front of the camera.  They made it super easy for me to do what I love...capturing real, natural moments that bring a smile to your face.  And I had so much fun I probably should have been paying them. ;)

Side note:  I get a lot of questions about what to wear to photo sessions, so let me tell you that I love what they are wearing!!  Everyone (especially the kids) looks comfortable in what they have on, and they are showing their own personal style without the outfits being matchy-matchy. And who doesn't love hot pink high-tops!? :)

the dillard family

You know when your GPS takes you down a dirt road that you're going to have a great session.  This family owns an absolutely gorgeous lake house just outside of the city and I felt so lucky to take pictures there!  We started with family pics for a wonderful couple and their two totally precious girls, and then we got the rest of their extended family in on the action. ;)  There was a lot to celebrate: a 95th birthday, the finalization of an adoption and a 3-year cancer free diagnosis.  No better way to mark those amazing milestones than pictures with the people you love most. <3
